Fine Wine ERP Pricing: Subscription Tiers, Modules, Services and Contract Terms

Most wine-trade software quotes you a headline and builds the real bill out of modules nobody publishes. This is the whole rate card — subscription, modules, implementation and support — so you can work out your own number before you ever speak to us.

  • 12-month minimum term
  • 60 days’ notice
  • No pre-go-live fees
  • Prices exclude VAT

All prices exclude VAT. Monthly figures are per month; the second figure on each tier is the equivalent monthly rate when the year is prepaid.

  • Core

For a merchant running one book of stock, where the whole team is a handful of people.

    £620 / month

£583 / month on annual prepay

    Users included
    3
    Scale
    up to 2,500 wines
    Additional user
    £110 / month
  • Enterprise

For a desk that brokers, and holds consignment stock it does not own alongside its own.

    £1,285 / month

£1,210 / month on annual prepay

    Users included
    8
    Scale
unlimited wines + virtual stock / consignment lines
    Additional user
    £110 / month

Additional users are £110 a month — on every tier

£110 per user per month, flat. The seat price does not rise as you move up the tiers: a fourth user on Core and a ninth user on Enterprise cost exactly the same. Seat pricing that climbs with the tier charges you most for the seat you are least likely to refuse, and we would rather publish one number.

Included on every tier

The Core Platform Is Not the Thing That Gets Unbundled

The tiers differ on users and stock scale. They do not differ on what the platform does — the wine-trade mechanics below are on every one of them.

  • Lot, case and bottle stock-unit model, with split, merge and full lineage
  • Bond-status tracking across multiple locations, on one stock record
  • Ownership-provenance timeline, including company-to-client transfer
  • Double-entry financial ledger with reversal
  • Trade ledger, purchasing and COGS with capitalised charges
  • UK ABV duty and VAT margin-scheme calculation, on effective-dated bands
  • En primeur allocation lifecycle
  • Cellarage cost-recovery billing
  • Shipments and despatch
  • Pricing groups
  • Consignment and brokering workflows
  • Accounting export

What each of these does in practice is set out on the features page, and the platforms the system talks to are named on the integrations page.

Modules

Priced Separately, Published Anyway

Four modules sit outside the core subscription. They are the lines that usually go unpublished, which is exactly why they are here. Which platforms each one connects to is named on the integrations page.

Module rates, excluding VAT
Module Price
Client Reserves Portal £2.00 per storage account per month, £750/month minimumThe one metered line on this page. It is billed on storage accounts, so it grows with your client book rather than with a renegotiation.
Storefront integration layer £6,500 setup + £295/monthOrders, customers and stock kept in step between the platform and your storefront.
Market data feed £65/month, no setup feeMarket pricing alongside your own stock positions.
Dedicated database £550/monthYour data on its own database instance rather than a shared one.

Implementation & support

The Day Rate, Not “Price On Application”

Getting a wine business onto a new ledger is real work, and it is charged as real work. The rate is visible before the first call, and it is quoted against a band you can budget from. What that covers, and what it costs, is set out in full below.

Service rates, excluding VAT
Item Price
Implementation day rate £950 / day
Typical implementation £12,000 – £25,000Where in the band you land depends on how much history is migrated and how many integrations are in scope.
Training £1,250 / day
Additional support £95 / hourBeyond the support the subscription already includes.

Contract terms

The Terms Are Part of the Price

A rate card means very little if the contract underneath it runs for five years, raises fees at will, and starts billing before anything is live. Ours does none of those things, and here is the whole of it.

  • Minimum term

    12 months

    A year to prove itself, not a five-year lock-in.

  • Notice

    60 days

Written notice, at any point after the minimum term.

  • Price increases

    Capped and notified annually

Once a year, capped, and told to you in advance — not raised at will on short notice.

  • Before go-live

    No pre-go-live or test-environment fees

The subscription starts when the system is live, not when the project starts.

  • VAT

    All prices exclude VAT

Every figure on this page is net of VAT.

Questions

Pricing Questions, Answered

How much does Bacchus ERP cost?

Bacchus ERP has three subscription tiers, billed monthly and excluding VAT: Core at £620 a month, Professional at £945 a month, and Enterprise at £1,285 a month. Prepaying the year brings those to an equivalent £583, £888 and £1,210 a month. Modules, implementation, training and support are priced separately, and every one of those rates is published on this page too.

What is included in the subscription price?

Every tier carries the whole core platform: the lot, case and bottle stock-unit model with split, merge and lineage; bond-status tracking across multiple locations; the ownership-provenance timeline; the double-entry financial ledger with reversal; the trade ledger, purchasing and COGS with capitalised charges; UK ABV duty and VAT margin-scheme calculation; the en primeur allocation lifecycle; cellarage cost-recovery billing; shipments and despatch; pricing groups; consignment and brokering; and accounting export. The tiers differ on how many users are included and how far the stock scale runs — 3 users and up to 2,500 wines on Core, 5 users and unlimited wines on Professional, 8 users and unlimited wines plus virtual stock and consignment lines on Enterprise.

What does an additional user cost?

£110 per user per month, flat across every tier. The seat price does not rise as you move up: a fourth user on Core and a ninth user on Enterprise cost exactly the same.

What do the modules cost?

The Client Reserves Portal is £2.00 per storage account per month, with a £750/month minimum. The storefront integration layer is £6,500 setup plus £295/month. The market data feed is £65/month with no setup fee. A dedicated database is £550/month.

How much does implementation cost?

Implementation is charged at a published day rate of £950/day. A typical implementation lands in the £12,000 – £25,000 band, depending on how much history is migrated and how many integrations are in scope. Training is £1,250/day, and support beyond what the subscription includes is £95/hour.

Is there a minimum contract term?

12 months, with 60 days notice. Not five years. Price increases are capped and notified annually rather than applied at will, so the figure you agree is the figure you can plan against.

Are there any fees before we go live?

No. There are no pre-go-live or test-environment fees. The subscription starts when the system is live, not when the project starts.

Do these prices include VAT?

No. All prices on this page exclude VAT.
